I offer individual face-to-face counseling in either Dunwoody or Grant Park, distance counseling online, and support groups throughout metro-Atlanta.
Initial intake sessions are 75 minutes and regular subsequent sessions are 55 minutes. Initial sessions are longer because it gives us more time to establish a relationship, for assessment, and to begin a plan that will best suit your unique needs. Office sessions offer a warm and private setting for the therapeutic process. $100 per regular 55 minute session $150 initial 75 minute session * I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots, upon request
For some clients, regular office visits are not possible due to location. I use regrouptherapy.com, a HIPPA compliant, simple, and secure way for mental health professionals to extend their reach and help more clients. $100 per regular 55 minute session $150 initial 75 minute session
Walk and Talk Therapy is a unique form of therapy that merges traditional psychotherapy with the physical exercise of walking. Using walking in combination with counseling strengthens the connection between the mind and the body. Sessions are 55 minutes and are held outdoors at your pace. Exercise is good for the body and the mind! $100 per regular 55 minute session (first sessions are preferred in office setting)
Mother Wise Support Group (Free!) - This free group for pregnant and postpartum women meets every Tuesday at the Atlanta Birth Center from 10:30 - 11:30am. You do not need to be a birth center client to be a part of this incredible offering of support. Lap babies of course welcome. Groups are led by a therapist specializing in Maternal Mental Health (including myself).
